Yankees pitching doesn't STINK, it's just been stinking lately. There's a difference. Hughes and Pettitte are good pitchers. It would surprise no one if they each turned in a few good games. Now if the Yankees were sending out Steve Trachsel and Aaron Heilman in games 2 & 3, THEN you can talk about weak pitching. If the Yankee pitching was really as bad as all the mouthbreathers on WFAN say it is, they wouldn't have won 95 games. But again, there are no locks this year. If my predictions were even 50% accurate I'd be VERY surprised. Hey man, 2000 really warped me.
